After recruiting nine new faces in the summer transfer window, not many West Ham United fans would have expected the club to jump back into the market in January.
It is unclear whether the club plan to shake up the squad personnel, but they have been linked to a handful of players in recent weeks.
One of which is Hertha Berlin right-back Valentino Lazaro, who according to The Express (November 25) is on Manuel Pellegrini’s radar.
The 22-year-old, who has scored four goals and racked up eight assists for Hertha so far this season, has been spending the majority of the campaign in defence.
However, the Austrian is well versed as a winger, which means that he could potentially fill in during Andriy Yarmolenko’s injury absence.
In addition, with Ryan Fredericks also on the sidelines, Lazaro could be another option at right-back, which would give Pablo Zabaleta a breather.
