Leeds United will look to end a run of three successive Championship defeats when they host Middlesbrough and former boss Garry Monk at Elland Road on Sunday, and Whites fans have demanded that Stuart Dallas starts the match.

The Whites have slipped down to 11th in the standings following a dreadful run of form that has seen them lose seven of their last nine league games, including three on the bounce at Elland Road.

Thomas Christiansen is certainly under pressure coming into the clash against Boro, and he may be debating starting Dallas – who suffered the disappointment of Northern Ireland missing out on the 2018 World Cup during the international break – in an advanced midfield role after he was an unused substitute against Brentford last time out.

Leeds supporters were quick to have their say on Dallas via social media, and while one said “I hope to God he starts”, another said he “deserves a run of games”.
